Surgeons have developed three "basic" surgical techniques for different degrees of breast sagging. Breast Lift Surgery (Mastopexy)

Prior to your procedure, Dr. Hovsepian and his aesthetic team will make sure you understand your procedure and recovery thoroughly. He will also answer any questions you may have. Privacy, safety, comfort, and excellence in treatment with trusting compassionate care are the benefits of Dr. Raffi Hovsepian’s patient experience. You will need to begin fasting 8 hours prior to your procedure before coming into the Beverly Hills surgical center, this means you cannot eat or drink anything at all during this period, including chewing gum or drinking water. If you have been instructed by Dr. Hovsepian to take any medications in the morning, this is permitted with a few sips of water.

Breast lift (mastopexy) surgery is performed under general anesthesia, meaning you will be completely asleep and feel nothing during surgery. The surgery takes a few hours, although you should expect to spend extra time in the operating room if your procedure will focus on multiple areas. The surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure, but some patients prefer an overnight stay. Out-of-town patients may stay in a nearby hotel or aftercare facility, where a "private duty" nurse is available if required. Afterward, you will return to your home, hotel, or aftercare facility conveniently located a short distance from the surgical center.
