What is Juvéderm?

Juvéderm is a family of dermal fillers composed primarily of hyaluronic acid. This is a substance already found in the human body, and it acts to provide volume to our skin. Juvéderm offers an entire collection of dermal fillers and in a general sense, they’re all fairly similar in terms of their indications, risks, and the longevity of their results.

Juvéderm vs. Restylane

The primary difference between these two products is the exact particle size of the hyaluronic acid that composes them, as well as the amount of cross-linking of the particles.

Whereas Restylane is more of a gel particle suspension, Juvéderm is thought to be highly cross-linked, producing more of a gel.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX XC

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. However, this revolutionary hyaluronic acid gel can also be injected into the lips and perioral area to contour, fill and reshape your lips for a more youthful look. These results last up to one year, making ULTRA XC one of the longest-lasting lip fillers available.

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA PLUS XC

The JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC PLUS formula is thicker than ULTRA XC, making it better for deep facial creases near the mouth, mid, or lower face. This filler is an excellent, non-invasive alternative to surgical cheek implants. Most patients who use ULTRA PLUS XC have successfully used ULTRA XC but want increased volume.

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC
